SANAA, July 15 (YPA) – Several people were killed and wounded when a truck collided with a minibus on the Federal Highway “Velloy” on Monday, the media office of the Russian Traffic Police Department in the Republic of Yakutia reported.
According to the media office, the incident occurred around 11 a.m. local time (5 a.m. Moscow time).
There were dead and wounded, as well as an investigation team headed to the scene, the spokesman said.
In February, 21 people were injured when a bus collided with a truck in the central Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod.
“The number of passengers on the bus is 37,” the General Directorate for Nizhny Novgorod Provincial Affairs of the Russian Emergency Ministry said in a statement.
Ambulance teams provided medical assistance to 21 people at the immediate scene, while 13 people were taken to Semachko Hospital in Nizhny Novgorod province.”
