Yemeni army foils coalition’s infiltration attempt in Hays district of Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, July 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday managed to repel an infiltration attempt carried out by mercenaries hired Saudi-led coalition in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the mercenaries tried to advance towards the northern part of Maghazi village in Hays district but were foiled by the army forces.

Meanwhile, the coalition-backed mercenaries shelled several areas in Durihamy district, damaging civilians properties.
