Dead body of leader in southern movement found in Aden

ADEN, May 28 (YPA) – Local residents of Aden have found the dead body of a leading activist in the so-called Southern movement in a residential apartment on Tuesday, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Activists from the city of Aden have confirmed that activist Yasser Massayb was killed inside a residential apartment in the Omar Mukhtar area of Sheikh Othman district.

Activist Abu Qusai ibn Abyan al-Bar has accused soldiers belonging to the exiled Hadi’s Ministry of the Interior of assassinating the al-Massayb.

Previously, Yasser Massayb was arrested by UAE occupation forces in April 2017, and only released after people of the Al-Mansoura district staged a protest calling on the UAE occupation militia to release him.
