Israeli occupation warplanes carry out overnight air strikes on Gaza Strip

SANAA, March 27 (YPA) Israeli occupation warplanes have bombed two military positions of the Hamas movement in the southern Gaza Strip overnight, without reporting of any casualties.

Palestinian media sources said that one of the air raids targeted the al-Yarmouk site belonging to the martyr Ezzeddine al-Qassam Brigades, east of Khan Yunis, and another air raid on the new port.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health has not announced any casualties

On Tuesday evening, the Israeli occupation army announced that it had spotted a rocket fired from the strip and landed in southern Israel, on the border between the two sides.

The military said in a statement that the rocket was fired from southern Gaza and landed in an open area in the “Eshkol” regional district.

The army did not mention whether the missile resulted in human casualties or material damage.

Israeli occupation fighters launched a series of intensive raids on several targets across Gaza, in retaliation for the firing of a rocket from the strip, which landed north of Tel Aviv.

According to the Government Information office in Gaza, the Israeli army has launched more than 50 air raids on various areas of the strip, targeting different locations and injuring 10 people.

On Monday evening, Hamas announced the success of an Egyptian mediation in a ceasefire between the Palestinian factions and Israel, which has not officially announced.
