Coalition warplanes wage 7 raids on civilians in Saada

SAADA, March 19 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Tuesday waged seven airstrikes on civilians in several districts of Yemeni northern province of Saada, causing losses to civilians’ property.

According to security sources in the province, the coalition aircrafts targeted separated areas of Baqem district with four airstrikes, in conjunction with a Saudi rocketry and artillery bombardment on homes and farms of citizens in the district.

Al-Azhor area of the border district of Razih was hit by two airstrikes, in conjunction with a Saudi rocketry and artillery bombing on populated villages in the district, while another airstrike hit Weld Masoud area of Sahar district.

On Monday, a civilian was wounded in a Saudi bombardment on the border district of Monabah, while the coalition fighter jets launched five air raids on several areas of Baqem district.

It is worth mentioning that the civilians living in the border districts of Saada province are exposed daily to bombardment by the coalition aircrafts and the Saudi missiles and artillery shells, which leave casualties and cause destruction and damage to houses, farms and property amid continual silence of the United Nations and the international community towards these crimes.
