Civilian wounded by unknown gunmen’ attack in Seiyun city

SEIYUN, March 17 (YPA) – At least one civilian was injured on Saturday as unknown gunmen opened fire towards him in Seiyun city of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen,  local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, Mubarak Ali Salem al-Ajeam was wounded in the shooting fire incident.

The sources indicated that the shooting took place in Salila area.

The gunmen fled the scene after shooting, one of the sources said.

On Friday, a militant affiliated to so-called of al-Hadramaian elite forces loyal to the United Arab Emirates occupation forces was killed and three others were injured in clashes broke out al-Shaher district.

The attack was the latest in a series of assassinations targeting political figures, clerics and security officials in the UAE-occupied southern provinces.
