Update: Yemeni army repels second coalition’s attack in Jawf

JAWF, Feb. 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on repelled a second an attack carried out by militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that dozens of the militants were killed and others were injured in the battle, which took place in Astor area of Khub Washaef district.

The attack lasted for several hours and inflicted heavy casualties in the militants’ ranks, the official added.

Earlier in the day, the army forces repelled an attack by the coalition-backed militants in Suliliah area of the same district.
