Saudi new ambassador appointed to US as “step of modernity”: Al Houthi

SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammad Ali al-Houthi describes appointment of new Saudi female ambassador to Washington as “a step of modernity”.

Al-Houthi said that the “modernity” also means stopping the wars and releasing of Saudis female detainees so that new female ambassador don’t stumble before media channels.

“Appointment of the female ambassador by Saudi authorities to Washington “will not delay Congress’s decision to prohibit weapons,” al-Houthi added.

The move came on his Twitter account.
