Popular committees to protect neighborhoods in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Southern media sources on Saturday said that residents of Aden city called for the formation of popular security committees to protect neighborhoods of the city.

This came after the escalation of crimes of killing and kidnapping in the city and the failure of the UAE occupation forces and the so-called “Hadi’s government” to maintain the security in the city neighborhoods , according to the sources.

Over four years, the city of Aden has witnessed security chaos and acts of violence and terrorism since it was controlled by the UAE occupation forces participating in Saudi-led coalition, which have recruited more than 50,000 militiamen within the so-called ” security belt forces”.
