National negotiating delegation’s member meets Norway’s State Secretary in Oslo

OSLO, Feb. 14 (YPA) – The national negotiating delegation’s member Abdulmalik al-Ajari on Thursday met in Norway’s capital city of Oslo with State Secretary at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tore Hattrem.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects related to the aggression on Yemen and its repercussions on the region and means of enhancing cooperation, especially in the political and humanitarian field between Yemen and Norway.

In the meeting, al-Ajari reviewed the national delegation’s vision for resolving the Yemeni issue and the obstacles facing the peace process, confirming at the same time the national delegation’s commitment to what was agreed upon in the peace consultations in Sweden and the relevant international resolutions.

The national delegation’s member presented a comprehensive presentation of the humanitarian and economic situation in Yemen due to the worsening crises resulting from the siege imposed on the country, as well as the latest findings of the prisoner exchange committee during UN-sponsored meetings in Amman.
