Sabein Hospital in Sanaa announces natural, Caesarean delivery fees are free

SANAA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Al-Sabeen Hospital for Motherhood and Childhood in the capital Sanaa announced that normal deliveries and caesarean sections with tests will be free from February.

The director of the hospital Dr. Magda al-Khatib said that the hospital provides medical service for mothers free of charge as a result of the low living and economic conditions experienced by many families as a result of continued aggression and siege.

She pointed out that the total number of births that took place in the department of delivery in the hospital during the past year 8986 births natural and Caesarean rate of 24 births per day.

The rate of natural and caesarean delivery has increased since the beginning of this month by about 50 normal births and 18 caesarean sections per day.

Dr. Al Khatib pointed out that the hospital provides medical services to more than three million people in the capital Sana’a and the seventeen hospital is the first specialized hospital in the republic which serves all the expatriate citizens and those who are hesitant from the capital city and the neighboring governorates.
