Coalition commits 574 violations in Hodeidah cease-fire over 72 hours: Army spokesman

SANAA, Feb. 9 (YPA) – The Saudi-led and its militias have committed 574 violations of UN-brokered cease-fire in Hodeidah over the past 72 hours, Yemen’s army spokesman Yahya Sarie said in a statement on Saturday.
“The violations included 364 artillery and 17 missile shells which fired at houses and farms of the citizens in several districts of Hodeidah and positions of the army forces,” Sarie said.
Sarei said that the coalition militias continued to fire from various medium and light weapons towards several areas in the city of Hodeidah and surrounding the city.
The spokesman confirmed that the army monitored reinforcements and movements of the militias toward several areas in the province.
The spokesman said the coalition’s ongoing violations would obligate Swede agreement, holding the coalition the full responsibility for an attempt to fail the cease-fire.
He added that the coalition warplanes waged 59 raids on several provinces of Yemen over the past 72 hours.
