Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militias over 24 hours: Military Media

SANAA, Feb. 5 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged a military operation against sites of the Saudi-led coalition and its militias over the past 24 hours, inflicting heavy casualties, the Military Media on Tuesday.

In border province of Asir, the army’s drone carried out a series of strikes on groups of the militias in Majazah area.

In Najran province, the army foiled an attack by the militias towards sites of al-Mashja area and Qasa, killing and wounding a number of the militias.

The army also fired three missiles Zilzal 1 at sites of the militias in al-Sudis and attacked another group in Rasha’a area and al-Buqa desert of Najran, killing and injuring dozens of the militias.

In Jizan province, the army shot dead a Saudi soldier in Mashala site.

In Taiz governorate, several of the militias were killed and injured in the army’s attack on sites in Kalaba area.

In Jawf province, the army killed and injured a number of the militias in an attack in Ham area.

In Bayda province, the army foiled an infiltration attempt by elements of the so-called al-Qaida, inflicting heavy losses.

In Hajjah province, the army attacked and retook over strategic sites in al-Husnain and al-Nar mountains in Hairan area, killing and injuring dozens of the militias.
