Salim al-Mughalis: UN silence towards coalition’s violation in Hodeidah encourages it to continue

SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – A member of the national delegation negotiator Salim al-Mughalis said the silence of United Nations toward coalition’s violations of UN-brokered cease-fire in Hodeidah encouraged the coalition’s forces to continue and block the agreement of Sweden.
Al-Mughalis said that the targeting of the demining team and the killing of one of its members took place near Patrick Cammaert, surprising by the silence of the United Nations so far.
He explained that the opening of roads and demining took place in areas of Kilo-16 while the engineering teams were being shelled.
The member of the national delegation stressed that the silence of the United Nations as a result of these ongoing attacks and crimes would Would negatively affect the confidence of the national party in the United Nations and its seriousness in the implementation of Sweden Agreement.
