Turkey rejects Syria’s military presence in Manbij

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – Spokesman of Turkish Foreign Ministry Hami Aksoy said on Friday that his country rejected any Syria’s military presence in Manbij city, local media reported.

“The goal of Manbij map is clear, which states that the units of protection of Kurdish people will leave Manbij and the United States will withdrew weapons, to be governed by the people who live in, ” Aksoy said.

Turkey has considered the protection units of Kurdish people of Syria, which include great part of Syria’s democratic forces, as a terrorist group.

Syria’s Democratic forces backed by US has control Manbij city, north of Aleppo province of Syria, about 30 km from the Turkish border.
