Israel Cancels Iraq from List of Enemy States

SANAA, Jan. 11 (YPA) – Finance  Minister of the Zionist occupation government, Moshe Kahlon on Friday signed a decree to expunge Iraq from the list of so-called “enemy states” to “Israel” until the end of March of this year.

According to the Hebrew site “I 24 News”, the decree signed by Khelon stated that Iraq will be treated until March 31 as “not an enemy within the meaning of the trade order”.

The move came against the backdrop of the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s claim on January 6 for secret visits to three Iraqi delegations to the occupied territories over the past year.

The speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Mohammed al-Halbousi, instructed the establishment of a committee to investigate that information,

The Foreign Relations Committee of the Iraqi parliament said last Monday that the announcement by the Foreign Ministry of the Israeli occupation of the visit of three Iraqi partisan delegations was “part of a game aimed at creating strife inside Iraq.”
