ABYAN, Jan. 9 (YPA) – Three members of the so-called “Security Belt” militias backed by the United Arab Emirates in Abyan province, southern Yemen, were wounded on Wednesday in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion.
The blast targeted a military car belonging to guard of Ali Awad al-Mahwari, a commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition, while returning from laudar district, according to Yemen Press Agency correspondent.
Earlier in the day, an IED went off in Akad area in Abyan, injuring two people.
