The Israeli enemy opens airport overlooking Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Jan 1 (YPA) – Israel’s enemy airport authority said on Tuesday that it expected to open the second international airport near Eilat resort overlooking the Red Sea on January 22.

The airport authority spokeswoman, Lisa Dever, said work at Ramon Airport, which cost $ 500 million in the Negev desert, will begin gradually.

She said the airport would start domestic flights before international flights were allowed in March 2019.

The opening of the airport took longer than planned to double the parking space to accommodate 60 aircraft, as well as extending the runway to 3.6 kilometers to accommodate large aircraft.

The airport, Ramon, is expected to initially receive more than 2 million passengers a year and is planned to expand to reach 4.5 million passengers.
