Saudi occupation forces establish new military checkpoints in Mahra

MAHRA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Saudi occupation forces on Sunday established fresh military checkpoints in Yemen’s eastern province of Mahra, eyewitnesses said.

The military post was established nearby Shahan crossing point with the Sultanate of Oman.

Shahan tribes held a meeting to move to demand the occupation to lift the checkpoint and to leave the province, but the occupation’s militia did not respond to the demands of the tribes.

Residents of the province held a massive protest rally two months ago to demand the occupation forces to leave.
