Militants Blow up oil pipeline in Yemen’s Shabwa province

SHABWA, March.15 (YPA)- Tribal militants on Thursday blew up  oil pipeline in Yemen’ eastern province, a local source told Yemen Press Agency.

Unknown tribal armed group in Auslian district bombed and burnt oil pipelines passing through their district, in protest against the absence of public services, such as not providing residents with electricity power, the source confirmed.

The attack came as pressure on what so-called Bin Dagher’ government in order to deliver and provide electricity to their areas.

Yemen’ eastern province of Shabwa is one of the richest Yemeni oil provinces, which suffers from lack of basic services.
