IOF arrests 8 Palestinians in West Bank

SANAA, Dec. 26 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces( IOF)  launched a campaign of arrests in the West Bank on Wednesday, arresting eight Palestinians.

According to local sources, a number of Palestinians were injured during clashes in Balata refugee camp with occupation forces when the stormed al-Khodr area in the south of Bethlehem and the city of Al-Bireh.

In the same context, a number of extremist settlers carried out barbaric acts late on Tuesday, destroying a number of vehicles and damaging the property of citizens in the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.

“Three vehicles carrying a number of extremist settlers arrived at the entrance to the village and attacked public and private properties, including a pharmacy entrance, as well as the destruction of traffic paintings intended for vehicles and citizens,” Ghassan Daghles, the official of settlement file in the northern West Bank said.

The settlers smashed the glass of a number of vehicles after throwing stones at them, and no injuries were reported, he added.
