16 Palestinians arrested in West Bank, Jerusalem

SANAA, Dec. 24 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 16 Palestinians during a raid carried out in various parts of the occupied West Bank West Bank and Jerusalem on Monday before being taken to unknown destinations.

The Israeli occupation army said in a statement on Monday morning said that its forces had arrested 15 Palestinians from the West Bank overnight on charges of engaging in activities related to the popular resistance.

Local sources said that Israeli forces arrested a citizen in the occupied city of Jerusalem, after storming his family’s house in the town of Hazm, east of the town.

Israeli occupation arrested three Palestinians from the Al-Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah, three youths from the town of Khidr, south of Bethlehem, two east of the city and another from Beit Fajar, south-east of Bethlehem.

Local sources indicated that the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the town of Qalqilya and two boys from the Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron.

Clashes erupted in the towns of Nablus and Qalqilya when the occupation raided the village of Deir, northwest of Ramallah, and distributed “warning” leaflets to the citizens.
