Hadi’s former governor demands 175 million riyals to evacuate his residence in Shabwa

SHABWA, Dec. 3 (YPA) -The former Shabwa governor loyal to the exiled Hadi has demanded 175 million riyals for the evacuation of his residence, in order to make a place for the new governor who was recently appointed last week.

local sources confirmed that Hadi’s former governor in Shabwa, Ali Rashid al-Harthy, has refused to evacuate the house for the newly appointed Governor until the exiled government of Hadi pays its full dues exceeding 175 million riyals.

According to several activists in Shabwa, they said that al-Harthy claimed 100 million riyals for personal losses, in addition to 35 million riyals under the name of maintenance facilities he paid from his own money, as well as an amount of 40 million rewards that were awarded by Hadi but which the former governor has not received.

However, sources also asserted that Hadi’s former governor in Shabwah did not provide any services to the province; he only looted public money and expanded the financial and administrative corruption dramatically and extensively.
