UAE prevents southern people to mark Independence Day in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 27 (YPA) – Militiamen-backed by United Arab Emirates occupation (UAE)  prevented dozens of southern people to mark the 51th  anniversary of Independence Day, November 30, to expel the British occupation from Yemen’s south, Eyewitnesses said.

According to residents, the militia of the so-called Southern Transitional Council funded by the UAE spread Tuesday evening to prevent the citizens to enter to al-Arawdh area in Khor Maksar.

The move came after of tens of citizens from various southern provinces flooded to the arena to mark the great anniversary.
