Deadly clashes erupt between coalition’s rival militias in Yemen’s Aden

ADEN, Nov. 24 (YPA) -Fierce clashes broke out between rival militias in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden on Friday, local sources told  Yemen Press Agency.

The clashes took place in Sheikh Ottman district after a group of militias were tasked to remove a construction in Sheikh Ottman by the occupation forces.

A group of armed gunmen protecting the markets and stalls reportedly fired at the security militia’s vehicle, damaging its tires, to which the coalition-backed militias responded by throwing a non-lethal weapon known as a sound bomb.

Clashes were reported to have broken out in the area since the incident.

This came as a  part of the series of security chaos in  Aden and other southern provinces which allowed the militants to enforce their presence and carry out looting and robbery under the control of US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces.
