Information Minister inspects work in Sanaa Radio

SANAA, Nov. 17 (YPA) – Minister of Information, Daifallah al-Shami, on Saturday discussed with Head and Directors of Sanaa Radio Sector the level performance in the sector and the difficulties facing it.

During a meeting held at headquarters of the Sanaa radio, al-Shami was briefed on the problems faced by the radio cadres in the administrative, technical and financial aspects.

Al-Shami pointed to the importance represented by Sanaa Radio in its programs and activities, especially since it has a large audience in rural areas.

“Sanaa Radio is the voice of all Yemenis, and everyone listens to its programs,” he said.

The minister noted that “the year 2019 will be a media year at various tracks and trends.”

He reiterated that his ministry would pay attention to the Sanaa Radio and Yemen Satellite Channel, as a major pivot for the media in conveying the voice and real image to the world.
