Report: Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militiamen over 24 hours

SANAA, Nov. 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged attacks against sites of Saudi-led coalition’s militiamen in several fronts over the past 24 hours, inflicting heavy casualties, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

In border province of Jizan, the army’s air defenses shot down two spy planes of the coalition in area east of Dood mountain.

 In province of Asir, Dozens of the militiamen were killed, wounded and a military vehicle was destroyed when the army foiled nine attacks towards Alib crossing.

In Hodeidah province, a number of the militiamen were killed and injured, and a military vehicle bombed in the army’ attacks on sites of in the western coast.

In also Hodeidah, the army waged an offensive and retook over sites of the militiamen in the west of Tuhitah district, causing great losses.

 In province of Taiz, the army fired artillery at groups of the militiamen in al-Salu district, killing, wounding several and destroying a military truck.

 In Bayda province, several of the militiamen were killed and injured in a bomb blast in Nata area.

In Hajjah province, the army launched artillery towards groups of the militiamen in sites of Hairan area and al-Nar mountain, killing and wounding a number of the militiamen.

In Marib province, the army carried out two attacks on sites of the militiamen in Fatam mountain and Shab Barat in two districts of Harib al-Qaramish and Serwah.
