Sanaa: 73 criminal cases seized during 1st week of November

SANAA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – The security services in province of Sanaa seized 54 criminal cases and 73 suspects during the first week of November, according to a security statistic published by the Security Information Center on Sunday.

In the statistic, the center revealed that 33 cases were referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and seven were terminated by reconciliation and the parties’ waiver, including a murder case.

The center explained that the security services were able to thwart four attempts to smuggle tax and customs.

The statistic pointed to the arrest of six people suspected of stealing motorcycles, and the recovery of three stolen bikes

In additional, a security source in Sanaa said that as a result of the measures to combat and control the crime, three people were arrested in criminal cases in the capital, Ibb province and public funds.

The source said that in the same period two gangs, who stole  power cables and communications fibers, were arrested, some stolen goods were recovered  and two of coalition collaborator were arrested.

The source pointed out that all necessary measures have been taken against the detainees in the cases in accordance with the law.
