Report: 18 civilians killed in Saudi-led air, ground attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Nov. 8 (YPA) – At least 18 civilians were killed and 21 injured, including children, when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched dozens of air and ground attacks on several provinces of Yemen during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

  • In Hajjah province:

Eight civilians were killed and two injured in an airstrike on a home in Morem area of Hardh district.
Six civilians were killed and three injured in two airstrikes on their home in Ram area of Mostaba district.

  • In Hodeidah province:

A civilian was killed and ten were injured in artillery bombing at several areas of Hali district.
A worker was killed and two injured when the coalition bombed a factory in Hali district.
A woman and her child were seriously injured when the coalition’s militias targeted their home in Modmen area of Tuhaita district.
Artillery shells targeted the central prison in the city.
Artillery bombing hit civilians’ homes in 7 July area.
Meanwhile, more than 30 airstrikes hit Kilo_16 area, Khamsin street and several areas of Hali district.
Three airstrikes were waged on Mothalath Odin area in Hais district.

  • In Dhalea province:

Two civilians were killed and another seriously injured in artillery bombing at Rebat village in the east south of Damt city.

  • In Saada province:

A child was injured when a cluster bomb, earlier dropped by coalition’s warplanes, exploded in Razih district.
Dozens of missiles targeted residential areas of Dhaher district.
Missile and artillery shells were fired at residential villages and areas of Baqem, Monabeh and Razih border districts.
Meanwhile, three Saudi-led airstrikes hit Azhur area of Razih district.
