Parliament discusses report on October events in Sanaa University

SANAA, Nov. 5 (YPA) – Yemen Parliament on Monday discussed a report submitted by the special committee tasked to investigate the events occurred in Sanaa University last October.

The parliament approved the recommendations contained in the report after the competent government side, represented by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, pledged to commit to them.

Early in last month, dozens of activists motivated by Saudi-led coalition countries fomented chaos at the university by calling for demonstrations in what they called a hunger revolution, forcing the security forces to intervene to end the chaos.
