13 Palestinian workers injured in fire in Hebron

 SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – 13 Palestinian workers on Wednesday were injured when a fire broke out at a factory in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to Palestine Today agency

Sources in the ambulance and emergency of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said ambulances rushed to the factory and provided the necessary assistance to 9 injured were transferred to hospitals in Hebron for treatment, while at least 4 injured were transported by private cars to hospitals .

The head of the emergency department at Al Mizan Hospital, Sherif Al-Taridi, said that they dealt with 6 injuries that reached the emergency department due to minor burns and suffocation and they were admitted to the hospital departments for observation and completion of treatment.

Local sources said that the fire broke out in an outside yard of the factory, was controlled by the factory employees, without knowing the causes of the fire, and that a force of police and security rushed to the place.
