RC of UN in Yemen confirms death, injury dozens of civilians in Wednesday’s coalition airstrikes in Hodeidah

SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – The Resident Coordinator of the UN in Yemen, Liz Grande confirmed that dozens of civilians were killed and wounded on Wednesday as a result of coalition’s airstrikes in Hodeidah province.
A statement issued by the Office of Grande said that at least 21 civilians were killed and 10 others were injured when the vegetable packing facilities in Masoudi area were hit by the coalition’s airstrike, in a separate incident on the same day, 3 civilians were killed and 6 others injured when 3 cars were hit In the road of 7 July at Hali district in Hodeidah.
Grande said “Civilians are paying a terrible price for this conflict,” adding “This is the third time in this month that the fighting has caused great loss of life in Hodeidah, Yemen is facing the greatest famine in recent memory.”
“We have no time to lose, everything must be done for help in saving 14 million people at risk of starvation,” she said.
