Oil ministry condemns blocking oil tankers from entering Yemen’s port

SANAA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni Ministry of Oil and Minerals on Saturday condemned the blocking of two oil tankers from entering the Yemeni port of Hodeidah, the ministry said in a statement.

It said the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism for Yemen (UNVIM) has obstrecting the entry of the tankers in the Red Sea, holding it responsibility for the delay.

The tankers are carrying 7,500 tons of oil derivatives to the port of Hodeidah.

The statement added that both vessels have met all measures required by the mechanism of the United Nations.
