15 people killed as Truck carrying migrants crashes in Turkey

SANAA, Oct. 14 (YPA) – At least 15 people, including children, were killed on Sunday when a truck carrying migrants crashed in the western Turkish province of Izmir,  the Anadolu News Agency reported.

The truck was heading from the state of from Aydin to Izmir, the agency said, noting that “the Turkish authorities sent police and ambulance personnel to the area after the truck and toppled over.”

“There are several of dead and wounded among the migrants,” witnesses said.
