Syria announces opening of border crossing with Jordan

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – The Syrian Ministry of Transport announced on Sunday the completion of logistical preparations for the reopening of the Nasib border crossing with Jordan.

The Ministry of Transport said on Sunday that the logistical preparations for the reopening of the Nasib border crossing with Jordan will end on the 10th of next month and the start of the transit of trucks and transit are over.

The Ministry also confirmed in a statement that it has completed all necessary procedures for the reopening of the Nasib border crossing after it has carried out a number of preparations for its operation and re-energizing the movement of goods, transit, shipping and citizens in coordination with the ministries and concerned authorities.

The units of the Syrian Arab Army cleared last July the border crossing of terrorism, restored security, began technical workshops restoration work at the crossing and repair roads coming from the city of Daraa.
