Libya: Gaddafi family’s lawyer die in mysterious circumstances

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – The Central Hospital in Tripoli announced the death of the lawyer of the Gaddafi family, Mabrouka Dui, on Saturday morning, who was lying in the intensive care room of the hospital.

Medical sources at the hospital said that “Dui” was lying in the intensive care room in the hospital a week ago, and it is not yet known her illness and cause of death.

Fatima al-Hamroush, former health minister in the transitional government, said she followed with great concern the death of lawyer Mabrukka Dui, who was defending the Gaddafi family and some of the symbols of the Qaddafi regime.

Al-Hamroush said in her Facebook page that the lawyer “Dui” was present for all the hearings in the Libyan courts in Tripoli, Misrata and Zintan until the date of her illness, which led to her death.

Al-Hamroush pointed out that the details of her illness are suspicious and surprising, where she suffered severe vomiting, to be housed in the Department of Care Hospital Street corner in Tripoli about two weeks ago, and then entered into a coma and died on Saturday morning.

Al-Hamroush called for the intervention of forensic medicine to find out the causes of illness and death, as the possibility of poisoning is very likely, unless otherwise proven.
