Yemeni army attacks coalition-backed militants in Nihem district

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees, on Saturday, launched an offensive on the positions of the coalition-backed militants at Tabab Alsuwd in Nihem district of Yemen’s Sanaa province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Several militants were killed and others injured during the attack which targeted their sites, the official said.

The official confirmed that the militants and their military mechanisms fled in groups due to the powerful strikes of the Yemeni army and popular committees.
