Yemeni army fires Katyusha rockets on Saudi-backed militants in Asir

ASIR, Sept. 21 (YPA) – The Missile forces of the  Yemeni army and popular committees on Friday fired a barrage of Katyusha rockets and shells towards gatherings of the Saudi-backed militants in the Saudi southern border province of Asir, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The missile bombing left dozens of militants dead and wounded  Off Alib crossing, the official confirmed.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces shelled gatherings of the militants in the same area, leaving huge casualties in the lives and equipment.

The official indicated that the Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched several air strikes to back its militants in their failed attempt to make progress on the ground.
