Emergency cases in Sana’a died after coalition prevented 1st  aircraft carrying them to Cairo

SANAA, Sep. 20 (YPA) – Yemeni transport ministry sources said on Wednesday that the coalition prevented the arrival of United Nations aircraft dedicated to the transfer of patients through the Sanaa International Airport, according to the agreement signed with the United Nations.

In a statement, the Ministry of Transport reported that the Higher Medical Committee recorded the death of three patients whom were supposed to travel on Tuesday in flights agreed with the United Nations flight.

The ministry  pointed out that the rest of the patients waited the same fate if they could not urgently travel abroad for treatment.

 

“The Ministry followed with great interest the news of the operation of an air bridge through the Sanaa International Airport for sick cases, two flights a month, which was adopted by the United Nations and signed an agreement to do so.”

The statement stressed on the countries of the coalition prevented the arrival of aircraft to Sanaa International Airport in a clear intransigence and defiance of the UN conventions and the aim of killing more patients.
