Commander loyal to coalition injured in ambush in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 10 (YPA) – A Saudi-led coalition-backed commander with his bodyguards on Monday were injured in an ambush in Yemen’s southern province of Aden, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The ambush, planted by unknown gunmen opened fire  towards Abu Muhtam al-Sumaidi, the commander of the Special Security Battalion in al-Haswah area.

Aden city has seen a security anarchy, conflicts and assassination operations  targeted the military leaders and social activists calling on to leave the UAE occupation forces from the southern provinces.
