Hundreds of protesters close main streets in Aden

ADEN, Sep. 5 (YPA) – Hundreds of angry citizens on Wednesday cut off several major streets in the southern port city of Aden to protest against the economic collapse caused by the exiled Hadi government, according to Yemen Press Agency reporter.

The demonstrators closed many of the main streets in the city, including Al-Shahid Madram Street in Mualla district, calling for expelling the Saudi-led coalition forces from all southern provinces, the reporter said.

The mass demonstration hindered traffic in the main roads and sub-streets in the city, he added

The protests continued for the fourth day in a row in all southern provinces, demanding the overthrow of the government of Hadi, as a result of its inability to develop solutions for the collapse of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currency as a result of the printing of up to 800 billion Yemeni riyals in Russia without any cash cover.
