Zarif arrives to Damascus in unannounced visit

SANAA, Sep. 3 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif arrived on Monday to the capital Syrian Damascus in unannounced visit.
RT correspondent in Tehran said that Zarif visit is came to response to an invitation sent by his Syrian counterpart Walid al-Moallem to meet the President Syrian Bashar al-Assad and his Prime Minister Imad Khamis.

al-Watan Syrian newspaper quoted diplomatic source saying that Zarif will meet al-Moallem with possibility of another meeting with al-Assad.

The visit comes before Iran Summit for President of Russia, Turkey and Iran that will be hold on 7 July that may arrive to agreements on future Adlib battle.

IRNA official iranian agency stated that visit targets to hold consultation on the triple meeting of the summit that will be hold in Tehran on Friday.
