Report: Scores of coalition militiamen killed in battle fronts over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army carried out a series of an attacks against several sites of Saudi-paid mercenaries over the past 24 hours, killing and injuring tens, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

In the western coast front, the army waged an attack on several sites of the militiamen, killing a commander Hamdai Shokrai.

In also the coast front, dozens of the militiamen were killed and others injured when the army attacked and retook over several of the sites of al-Jah villages.

In border province of Najran, the army’s air defenses shot down a Saudi spy plane in Nahuqah site and fired artillery towards groups of the coalition forces and its militiamen in al-Ajashar desert.

In border province of Asir, the army launched artillery at gatherings of the militiamen off Alib crossing point and hit Saudi military groups in Sahwah area.

In also Asir, the army waged an offensive against sites of the militiamen in Awrf mountain, killing and injuring dozens.

In Taiz province, tens of the militiamen were killed and injured when the army foiled an infiltration attempt towards Maqbanah district.

In province of Lahj, the army repulsed an infiltration attempt of the militiamen towards Karash area, killing and wounding scores.

In Bayda province, the army waged an assault and controlled over several sites of the mercenaries in Nata area, leaving heavy casualties.

In Hajjah province, the army fired artillery at groups of the militiamen in Medi desert, the official added.
