Yemen army clears 8 sites in Bayda

DAYDA, Aug. 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Friday launched an offensive on the positions of the Saudi-backed militias in Yemen’s central province of Bayda, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official confirmed that the army forces were able to restore and secure eight positions were taken by the militias in Fadahah and Ashar areas at Natie front.

Dozens of the militias were killed and injured in the attack, the official added.
