11 Palestinians arrested in West Bank, Jerusalem

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday launched a massive campaign of arrests and raids in the West Bank’s towns and villages at dawn Monday, arresting 11 Palestinians in West Bank and Jerusalem.

Israeli occupation said that it arrested 11 Palestinians from West Bank areas, they were allegedly wanted and confiscating home-made weapons in the southwest of Jenin.

In Qalqilya, Israeli forces arrested four citizens from Henin at a sudden Israeli checkpoint.

Local Palestinian sources said the freed prisoner Wafa al-Dumuni in Alian camp Nablus, and another one were arrested amid violent clashes.

In occupied Jerusalem Shu’fat camp, local sources said that the three youths were arrested by the occupation.

The occupation also arrested Ibrahim Hassan Salah, 22, from Al-Khader village, South of Bethlehem, and the young man Mohamed Hassan Alayan, when they stormed Jalazone refugee camp North of RamAllah.

According to local sources, the occupation forces raided a number of houses in the camp belonging to the families of Alian, Makhlouf and Awad and messed up with their contents of the camp.

While a Palestinian was wounded on  Monday morning by Israeli occupation forces north of Beit Lahiya in the Gaza Strip.
