Yemen army takes control over one strategic site in Najran

NAJRAN, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday launched an offensive on the positions of the Saudi-backed militias in Najran province, Southern Saudi Arabia, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The offensive targeted the militias’ sites at the west of Saudias site, liberating and taking control over one of the strategic site, the official said.

The official confirmed that dozens of the Saudi-backed militias were killed and injured in the attack.
