Report: Army steps up military operation against coalition in battle fronts

SANAA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged military operation against sites and groups of Saudi-led coalition in several battle fronts over the past 24 hours, killing and wounding dozens, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

In Najran province, the army fired a ballistic missile, Badr 1, on Saudi al-Wajab camp.

In also Najran, the army repulsed two infiltration attempts of the coalition’s militiamen and destroyed a military vehicle in Sudis site, killing and wounding many.

In border province of Jizan, the army foiled an infiltration attempt of the militiamen in al-Dud mountain, killing and injuring several of them.

 In also Jizan, the army’s sniper shot dead seven militiamen off al-Dud site and hit military groups of the coalition in sites of Dukhan and Nashan.

In Asir province, the army fired artillery and rockets towards gatherings of the militiamen in Alib crossing point.

In also Asir, the army fired a guided missile at Saudi soldiers’ groups in al-Rabueh area and destroyed a military vehicle and killed its crew members off Alib crossing.

 In Taiz province, Dozens of the militiamen were killed and wounded when the army destroyed two military vehicles and hit their groups in al-Dhabab area, the official added.
