Report: 11 civilians killed in 22 airstrikes, ground attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 14 (YPA) – At least 11 civilians, including three children, were killed and 18 civilians and children were injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 22 airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s province during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.

  • In Saada province:

Two civilians were killed and four injured, including children, in an airstrike on Baqem district.

Three airstrikes were waged on Boqea area of Kutaf district.

Meanwhile, a civilian was killed and two children were injured in a Saudi missile shelling targeted residential areas of Razih district.

Artillery and missile shells were fired toward residential villages of Razih, Monabeh and Shada district.

  • In Nehm district:

Three airstrikes hit Madraj area.

  • In Taiz province:

A child was critically wounded after being shot by Saudi-backed sniper in Salou district.

  • In Hodeidah province:

A civilian, his wife and three of his children were killed in an airstrike hit their home in Ashraf area of Duraihimi district.

A civilian was killed and six were injured in airstrikes on a civilan’s farm in Tuhaita district.

Two airstrikes were waged on the east of Hais.

Two airstrikes on Jubanah area of Hali district.

  • In Amran province:

Two civilians were killed and five injured in three airstrikes on Harf-Sufian district.

  • In Najran border province:

Five Saudi-led airstrikes hit Talaa and Boqea.
