20 Palestinians arrested in West Bank

SANAA, 14 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation forces launched a massive campaign of arrests against Palestinians in various areas in the occupied West Bank, arresting 20 Palestinians and injuring others with live and rubber-coated metal bullets when the occupation forces stormed the occupied West Bank town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Clashes with the Israeli occupation forces erupted when the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town after midnight,  firing bullets, rubber bullets and tears gas and sound bombs towards the people and their homes, injuring one citizen with a live bullet.

According to medical sources at Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron, the young man had arrived at the emergency department; he was shot in the thigh by Israeli occupation forces.

Three other citizens were also injured by rubber bullets and others by suffocation from tear-gas inhalation fired by the occupation forces, the sources added.

The Israeli occupation forces also launched a massive crackdown on Tuesday in various provinces, including the arrest of two women, and confiscating of vehicles and funds for citizens in a campaign described as the largest in the West Bank.

According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 20 citizens as part of the campaign, after dozens of houses were raided in the areas of the West Bank.
