Health Minister: 130 killed, wounded, including 96 children in coalition massacre on childrenbus

SAADA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Taha Al-Mutawakil, announced on Friday the number of killing and wounding civilians in the crime of targeting the children bus in Saada province which reached to 130, including 96 children in an endless toll.

In a press conference organized by the Ministry of Health and Human Rights at the crime scene,  Al-Mutawakil  said that the number of martyrs reached 51, including 40 children, and the wounded 79, including 56 children.

Al-Mutawakil called on organizations working in the field of childhood to carry out their responsibility to raise the voice for stopping the aggression, stressing the importance of working to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to international courts.

The Director of the Office of  Hman Rights Minister, Tala’t al-Sharjabi, confirmed that all evidence indicates that the coalition’s warplanes  targeted the bus children in violation of international laws and beyond the principle of protection of civilians.

Furthermore, the representatives of a number of human rights organizations who visited the crime scene also stressed that this massacre is committed against both civilians and children and is a flagrant challenge to all international conventions and laws.
